ERADIKATED
Territory: Scandinavia
Formed as The Generations Army in 2015, re-born as Eradikatedin September 2021. Shortly after this transformation was made, the band signed a management deal with Republic 66. In October 2021 the band made their first live show as Eradikated, supporting The Haunted at Plan B in Malmö, Sweden.
Just a few weeks later came the first music release as Eradikated – a DIY released EP with re-recorded live favorites from The Generations Army’s old catalog, produced by the band themselves. Shortly after putting out this gem, Eradikated was signed by the booking agency TADC Sweden. To make sure that the new band name would stick and to establish the new social media channels, Eradikated released one DIY music video to each track on the new EP.
During the first half of 2022 the band supported Bullet at a one-off show and played some festivals, while working hard together with Republic 66 to find a record deal for the first full-length album. After the summer Eradikated was invited to support Anvil during the Scandinavian leg of the band’s Impact Tour 2022. This for sure was a great opportunity to play in front of a new crowd at some of the best club venues in the region.
Right before the Anvil tour should take off, Eradikated also was invited to perform at the prestigious showcase festival by:Larm in Oslo, Norway, as the only Swedish rock/metal act. After this show the CEO of Indie Recordings demanded a spontaneous meeting on site. Things were starting to move in the right direction…
In November the meeting payed off and Eradikated signed a record deal with Indie Recordings – the biggest rock/metal label in the Nordic region. To create the best buzz around this great happening it was decided to keep the signing under the radar, until the first single was to be released. Exciting times for the band to say the least.
During the start of 2023 TADC Sweden unfortunately went bankrupt, due to the aftermath of covid-19. Eradikated were immediately picked up and signed the booking agency Concerts Alive, so no time were lost in chasing gigs and festivals. Shortly after the Concerts Alive signing the band was booked to both Gefle Metal Festival and Sweden Rock Festival – Sweden’s biggest and most prestigious festivals within rock and metal.
In March 2023 the signing with Indie Recordings was made public and on the same day Eradikated released “Flames” – the first single and video from the upcoming full-length album. The video hit 40.000+ views on YouTube within a month!
After some festival shows the second single “Faced” was released in May 2023, together with a psychedelic lyric video. During this same period Eradikated also is confirmed for the huge festival Summer Breeze Open Air in Dinkelsbühl, Germany.
In the beginning of June 2023 Eradikated plays in front of their biggest crowd so far, when approximately 8000 metal heads showed up to see the band open Sweden Rock Festival as the first band on stage. A fantastic achievement and a dream come true.
In August 2023 the third single “Flood” is released from the upcoming album “Descendants” that finally will be released on October 6th, 2023. After the album release Eradikated will head out on another Nordic tour, this time invited to support Soilwork.
Stay tuned for what’s next to come!
